The servers where our trading platform is located are protected by high security firewall software and devices.

KlasFX representatives will never ask for the following from you!

We do not want you to move your money to a so-called “safe account” or somewhere else.

We will not ask for your account password or confirmation codes.

We do not ask you to give your full credit card number or send money.

We do not ask for your non-KlasFX account credentials.

In such cases, please contact us at support@klasfx.com, your customer representative or phone number +90 850 886 09 93.

Keep your account as secure as possible.

Step 1: Choose a strong password

The keys to creating a strong password are length, a mix of letters and numbers, and no ties to your personal information. Never email or disclose your password to anyone else. Remember, KlasFX will never email you to ask for your password or other sensitive information.

Step 2: Protect your password

Never enter your password after following a link in an email from an untrusted site. Always log in directly from our website given to you by your customer representative.

Do not save your password in the browser. If someone else gains access to your computer, your saved passwords are easily exposed.

Never use the same password on another site and change your password periodically.

Step 3: Check for viruses and malware

Install reliable antivirus software on your computer and mobile devices and set them to scan regularly. If the scan detects any suspicious programs or applications, immediately follow the instructions to remove them safely.

Step 4: Perform regular operating system and browser updates

Updates may also include important security fixes. Be sure to set your computer to update automatically, and if you receive a manual update notification, take care immediately.

If you're accessing your KlasFX account from a public computer, follow these extra steps:

Always log out of your account.

Clear forms, passwords, cache and cookies in the browser regularly.

BE AWARE OF PHISHING ATTEMPTS.

What is Phishing?

Phishing refers to attacks aimed at stealing confidential personal or corporate information. During hacking attempts, deceptive emails, website links, and text messages are commonly used to access users’ confidential information. Victims of phishing attacks: It is deceived to obtain important data such as name, surname, mother’s maiden name, address, telephone, password, tax number, account number, credit card information. Criminals can use this personal information to apply for a credit card, buy a mobile line, establish a company or engage in similar fraudulent activities with the information of individuals and institutions exposed to the attack.

How to Prevent Phishing?

1 - Learn what a phishing scam looks like

There are many sites online that will inform you about the latest phishing attacks and their key identifiers. The sooner you learn the latest attack methods and share them with your users through regular security awareness training, the more likely you are to avoid a potential attack.

2 - Don't click on links

It is generally not recommended to click on a link in an email or instant message, even if you know the sender. All you have to do with the link is to hover over it to see if the target is correct. Some phishing attacks are quite sophisticated and the target URL may appear to be a carbon copy of the original site set up to log keystrokes or steal login/credit card information. If it is possible for you to go to the site directly through your search engine rather than clicking on the link, you should do so.

3 - Get free anti-phishing plugins

Most browsers today allow you to download add-ons that detect signs of a malicious website or warn you about known phishing sites. These plugins are usually completely free, so there’s no reason not to have them installed on every device in your business.

4 - Do not give your information to an unsecured site

If the website’s URL does not begin with “https” or you do not see a closed padlock icon next to the URL, do not enter sensitive information or download files from that site. Although not all sites without security certificates are intended for phishing scams, you still need to be careful.

5 - Change passwords regularly

If you have online accounts, you should get into the habit of changing your passwords regularly to prevent an attacker from gaining unrestricted access. Your accounts may have been compromised without your knowledge, so adding this extra layer of protection through password changing can prevent ongoing attacks and thwart potential attackers.

6 - Don't ignore updates

Receiving lots of update messages can be frustrating. So you may be tempted to put them off or ignore them altogether, but you shouldn’t do that. Security patches and updates are released for a reason, mostly to stay up to date with modern cyberattack methods by opening holes in security. If you do not update your browser, you may be at risk of phishing attacks via known vulnerabilities that can be easily prevented.

7 - Increase your security with firewalls

Firewalls are an effective way to prevent external attacks by acting as a shield between your computer and the attacker. When used together, both desktop firewalls and network firewalls can increase your security and reduce the likelihood of a hacker infiltrating your environment.

8 - Don't be fooled by pop-ups

Pop-ups not only annoy you, they are often linked to malware as part of phishing attacks. Although most browsers now allow you to download and install free ad-blocking software that will automatically block most malicious pop-ups, if you encounter an ad that still manages to evade the ad blocker, never click it.

9 - Don't give out important information unless necessary

As a general rule, you should not provide your card details unless you have 100% trust in the site you are visiting. If you need to provide your information, be sure to verify that the website is trustworthy and the company is real.
